How Khony collects, uses, and protects personal data.

1. Who is responsible for your data?

For the website, Khony accounts, and exchanges with people who contact us, the data controller is Salian Diakite, independent publisher of the Khony project. When an organization imports feedback, tickets, or contacts into its workspace, that organization remains the controller and Khony processes the data on its behalf.

2. What data do we use, and why?

3. Cookies and analytics

The marketing website may offer the Khony widget to contact the team. Measurement of visited pages and widget use requires your prior permission through privacy preferences. Refusing does not block the website or chat. Storage required for sessions, security, or preferences is limited to those purposes.

Fonts are served by Khony. When installed, the widget is served by the Khony application. Its unavailability does not block browsing the website; analytics remain disabled if the consent service cannot confirm your choice. You can change your permission at any time through privacy preferences. Signing up, signing in, and the free trial all happen inside the application, on a separate domain.

Widget analytics are disabled by default. They require activation by an administrator and the visitor's consent. Refusing prevents creation of the analytics identifier; withdrawing consent stops collection and removes the local identifier.

4. Service providers and international transfers

Khony only uses providers required to operate the service:

  • Neon — PostgreSQL database
  • Cloudflare R2 — file storage
  • Resend — transactional email
  • Polar — subscriptions, billing, and payments
  • Requesty — AI gateway when AI features are enabled

Customer-selected integrations are enabled only on the customer's instructions. Any required international transfer must rely on a recognized transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards.

5. Retention and your rights

Account data and customer content are retained during the active relationship, then deleted or returned in line with applicable instructions and obligations. Messages sent to the team are kept while they are being handled and for reasonable follow-up. Logs and analytics follow the retention period configured for their purpose.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. Contact privacy@khony.app. You may also lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority.

6. Changes to this policy

Where required, we will announce material changes to purposes, recipients, or rights before they take effect. Khony does not sell personal data.
